I am currently participating in Leadership Gibson Co. An awesome program for adult leaders throughout Gibson Co to learn more about the industries & inter workings of local government. The program also focuses on building leadership and team building skills. Hence the ACES day they plan, which is otherwise known as a day of blood, sweat, & tears and unbelievable soreness for the days to follow.
The Leadership Class 2011 is an awesome group of individuals. This is our 5th time together & it is amazing how we all "click". We are full of surprises and laughter when we are all together and apparently we have been a topic of lots of Chamber conversations from what I hear. I have really enjoyed getting to know each classmate - and we are one of the largest groups as well.
ACES days is a day out in the woods being physically active in team building activities and pushing yourself out of your "comfort zone". Some of the activities were not so "uncomfortable" like trying to balance the team on a suspended log...

Others had me totally terrified like jumping off a 35 ft pole, after you have climbed up there. I was literally like a cat in a tree - terrified to come down.
